12/27/01 – We hope you all had a great holiday.  Remember, it’s not the gifts that matter, it’s spending time with friends and family who are healthy.  Look around and celebrate all that you have rather than wish for things you do not.  Still some things that are not functioning on the new server.  We hope to have everything operational soon.  I am grateful for your patience.  Thanks to all who came out to Nicholville Saturday, What a great time.  Special thanks to Tony Wollanger (Tweeter 5) for filling in for “recovering from surgery” Vinnie Vadie Voodie.  Look for Jay Russell to be filling in this Friday and Saturday.  Tweeter is all set for a long weekend of partying and Rock & Roll, scheduled to play JC’s River Run (Waddington Bowl) on Friday the 28’th, Ton’s Sports bar in Potsdam Saturday the 29’th, and the GRAND FINALE, CJ’s “ROCK INTO 2002 WITH TWEETER”, OPEN ALL NIGHT, NEW YEARS EVE BASH in Winthrop on the Monday the 31’st.  Looking forward to seeing everybody there.  Happy New Year Everybody!

12/20/01 – We are moving to yet another web server so expect some difficulties over the next week or so.  I’m sorry for any inconveniences this may cause but it was a necessary move.  The guestbook, contact form, and discussion web will be down for a few days.  Vinnie will be having an operation on his hand this Friday so Mr. Rich Russell will be filling in for Saturday night in Nicholville.  Please email Vinnie@tweeterandthemonkeyman.com and wish him a quick recovery.  We were also informed (at the StarTech Christmas party) that Mr. Darren Daragon (you members have probably seen him) feels that our report on how he dumped part of his drink on our mixing board causing us problems for the rest of the evening, and then having to take hours to completely disassemble the unit and clean out the sticky mess, then finding out that it well could effect the longevity of the unit and has already effected the trade in value, is libelous.  I personally feel that since we have several witnesses who watched him dump said liquid, and then leave, not even bothering with a “gee, I’m sorry” that we were more than generous by absorbing the cost of repairs and not pursuing any sort of compensation for the damage.  Mr. Daragon (who I shall personally refer to in the future as “MR. DESTRUCTO”) also informs us that he would have paid for the damage to the unit, but since we did not even receive and OFFER to HELP pay for the damage or even an ENQUIRY as to the amount of the repair or extent of the damage, I have the feeling that this is just CRAP.  He also feels we have turned people against him, but he has done so well at this in the past I am sure our efforts pale in comparison.  So if you feel, MR. DESTRUCTO, that you have any grounds for a libel suit, please do proceed.  And while we’re in court I think it would be a perfect time for a counter suit.  WE’RE WAITING…

12/17/01 – What a weekend.  Lots of snow on Friday kept a few people home, but the crowd at George’s was sure a party crew.  Thanks to Paula, Becky, and Shep for a great night.  Oh ya, George too.  It was great to have Paula on our side of the bar, but she had a problem holding on to her boot.  Saturday was packed WALL TO WALL at CJ’s.  I don’t think I’ve ever seen that many people in there at one time before.  Thanks to everyone who came out both nights.  This Friday we are off and Saturday we are at Nichoville Grill (you probably know where that is).  Wow, the last show before Christmas.  Time sure flies.  This is the last chance for all you fans to get your presents to the band before the Santa arrives.  We accept shots, boob flashes (preferably from women), most types of food, and if you are really stuck you can always donate large amounts of money to the Tweeter Band Fund.  (For assistance please contact Lynn Jenkins who is the treasurer of the fund at any show).  Also for those who get lost easily, click here for driving directions to Nicholville.  Everyone be careful on the wintry roads, and try to get that Christmas shopping out of the way as soon as possible.  See you Saturday!

12/12/01 – Another packed house at Smokey’s.  Thanks to everyone who came out.  Also thanks to Rob and the crew for having us play.  And don’t forget Uncle Wiggly, the best DJ west of Rite Aid.  Those guys really packem’ in.  Not much new this week.  Everybody is busy getting ready for the holidays.  Remember Tweeter will be at CJ’s this New Years Eve.  They have an all night license.  Tickets are on sale now.  This Friday is George’s in Norfolk.  Always a great time.  We expect that the first thing you will see is Shep at the door.  Saturday is CJ’s in Winthrop.  Ma and Ma’s Ma will be runnin’ the bar.  We usually see one or two of the twins over the course of the night too.  We’ll see you all there!

12/03/01 – We had a few web server problems last week.  We apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused.  We may have to make some changes this week too, so let me apologize in advance for any down time we might have from that.  A great night at CJ’s.  Thanks to everyone for traveling up there.  This weekend we will be at Smokey’s on Friday, and Saturday is a bye (which is about as close to getting a weekend off that we usually get).  Hope you have a great week, and remember that the show runs from 9:00 to 12:00 on Friday, so be sure to get there early so you don’t miss anything.  See you there…

11/30/01 – A great weekend at Springs and JC’s in Waddington.  Thanks to all who attended.  A very busy time of year for me so please be patient for updates to the site.  Tweeter is off Friday.  We will be celebrating the retirement from Alcoa of Mr. Lynn Jenkins, our “Road Master” and very dear friend.  We will also be celebrating our Tweeter Christmas party (and a Monkey Man new year).  We hope the holiday spirit finds you and your family healthy and happy.  Saturday we will be at CJ’s in Winthrop where it is always a great time with Ma, Ma’s Ma, and hopefully an appearance by the twins.  See you all there.

11/21/01 – A busy weekend at George’s and CJ’s.  Thanks to all who attended.  It was almost a disastrous weekend though when a disagreement almost ended the Tweeter 9 version of the Tweeter and the Monkey Man band.  But the boys came through for the old man and they are back on the road.  This Friday at Massena Springs Tavern (thanks guys) and Saturday, after a considerable hiatus, at JC’s River Run (also know as the Waddington Bowling Alley) I want to thank everyone for the emails and the phone calls.  Have a Great Thanksgiving, and we’ll see you this weekend.

11/17/01 – A faulty network card was the cause of the site being generally disabled during the latter part of this past week.  I am sorry for any inconvenience and apologize for the length of time it took to locate the problem.  We also had to deal with a major repair problem when Darren Deragon (boy toy of the renowned Suzie Stratton, not Pellegrino, bartender from Massena Springs) while patronizing Smokey’s pub house in Massena became overwhelmed in a moment of drunken idiocy and bent over to request something and poured a large portion of his beverage into our $1600.00 mixing console causing hundreds of dollars damage and quite possibly starting a corrosion process that could permanently affect the operation of the unit.  Other than that, a packed house at Smokey’s.  Thanks to Rob and the crew for having us there.  If you haven’t yet, please take a moment to sign up for our mail list service.  (You can click here to be transported to the sign up area)  This week’s problems prohibited me from finalizing the member’s area.  I will try to have it operational next week.  You will have to be signed up in our mail list database to have access to the members section.  We have also had several suggestions for new sections for the site.  Please visit the discussion web area to add and/or comment on suggestions.  Hope to see you all this weekend and we want to wish you all a great Thanksgiving and a great holiday weekend.

11/04/01 – Wednesday night was a blast.  Thanks to all who appeared (in or out of costume) for the Massena Springs Halloween party.  Congratulations to Trevor Curtis for winning first place in the costume contest.  Runner up was Donnie Eels for his portrayal of the abandoned “Booze Brother”.  A great crowd at Nicholville Grill on Saturday.  Even the people who got lost finally made it there.  (we really thought the map would have helped)  Boy can those Nicholville folks party!  Thanks everyone for all the shots and all the kind words.  WE LOVE YOU GUYS!  With the exception of Marc’s truck upholstery, the evening ended without incident.  They are going to have us back some time next month.  Keep your eye on the schedule for upcoming dates.  Please take a moment to register for our email service.  It’s new, it’s hot, it appears to be working.  This Friday we are at Smokey’s from 9:00 to 12:00, so be there early, it’s always a packed house and a great time.  See you there!

10/30/01 – A great Halloween Party at CJ’s this past Saturday.  Lots of great costumes.  Special thanks to “Tweety” and the “Mystery Beer Lady”.  Tweeter rocked until 3:00 AM (which was 2:00 EST for all you law enforcement personnel).  I believe all the pictures are up to date.  Sorry for the hold up.  It’s A LOT of work.  The mail list service is operational now, please take a moment if you are interested to register.  The registration section is under communication/mail list service from the main menu.  (Or you can click here)  A special Halloween appearance of Tweeter 8 (and hopefully some guests) this Wednesday night (Halloween night) at Massena Springs Tavern from 8:00 to 12:00.  1/2 of the door money goes to the best costume, so be sure to be there dressed and ready for some BOOO….z.  This weekend we are at Nicholville Grill on Saturday night.  (Click here for driving directions)  Hope to see you all there.

10/22/01 – Two GREAT nights at Smokey’s and Ton’s.  Thanks to all who attended this weeks shows.  We drank them out of Cuervo at Ton’s.  If you get a chance, please give them a call at 268-0813 and tell them that if they want Tweeter people the HAVE TO HAVE LOTS OF CUERVO!!!  The mail list is operational and ready for testing.  Please sign up under Communication/Mail List Service.  All the features are not operational yet, but we hope to have them available in the near future.  This weekend is CJ’s on Saturday for their annual Halloween Party so grab your costume and head on up for BOO…z.  See you there!!!

10/14/01 – We feel confident that most of the bugs are worked out of the site.  Thank you for your patience while we made the changes.  We hope to bring you more exciting additions in the months to come.  This week we added a discussion web.  You can enter any new topics or respond to any of the existing topics.  It is in the communication section.  We hope you use and enjoy this new feature.  Please take a moment and sign the new guest book too.  The members only section is coming along nicely, and we hope to be opening it up in the near future.  A great weekend at CJ’s.  Thanks to all who attended.  A big weekend on the way.  Tweeter will be at Smokey’s in Massena on Friday and Ton’s in Potsdam on Saturday.  We’ll see you all there !!!

10/09/01 – The site is almost back to normal.  We have found some conflicts with Explorer 6.0 and some security issues with the Front Page 2002 server extensions.  These should all be addressed in the near future.  A great weekend at Georges.  Thanks to all who attended.  A few people left a bit prematurely, but YOU WERE THERE!  Becky needs to be nicer to the band if she would like us to keep pushing for tips, or she ever wants to see another tambourine again.  This Saturday at CJ’s in Winthrop.  Ma has stocked up on Cuervo.  Several people have asked if the best looking twin bartenders in the state will be there and I tell them, “I don’t really know.”  So if you would like to call the bar at 315-389-5567, tell them how much you LOVE Tweeter ask if the twins will be there.  We have also had several people ask why we don’t play at the bowling alley in Waddington any more and I tell them, “I don’t really know.”  So after you call Ma, take a moment to call the bowling alley at 315-388-4462 and ask when Tweeter will be there again, and tell them you’re not going back until they are.  Just a thought.  Lots of new things around the corner, so keep in touch.  We’ll see you all this Saturday at CJ’s for a GREAT TIME!!!

10/01/01 – The site has had some intermittent down time during the migration to the new server.  We also have several updates.  It will now be necessary to enter your name and email address to sign the guestbook.  The system will also stamp each entry with the time, date, and IP address of the sender.  We have added a members only section and will be taking membership applications after the bugs get worked out of the system.  We will also have a discussion web where users can enter topics, question, or suggestions, and they can be responded to by other users.  A great crowd at CJ’s this weekend.  Saturday is George’s in Norfolk.  See you there…

09/26/01 – Recovered from the virus hit on the Tweeter site, we will be transferring the site to a new, improved, faster web server.  There may be some periodic outages during the transfer period.  Please bear with us.  A difficult night for Tweeter at George’s in Norfolk.  After obtaining a replacement for two failing Peavey amps, Marc’s amp began to malfunction, one of his cables went bad, a monitor amp began cutting out, circuit breakers started to blow, but the band plugged away to perform for a packed house.  The addition of another pair of EV 18” sub woofers proved to be just what was needed to provide that “in your chest” thump that Shawn wanted for his drums.  Another Friday off then CJ’s in Winthrop this Saturday.  See you all there!!!

09/21/01 – In the midst of a somber week trailing the terrorist attacks, another disaster (however minor in comparison to the other tragedies we have seen of late) the NIMDA virus struck our server as well as many other systems in the area.  This site was down for 2 days and we lost many files including the guestbook, code brown, and worst of all the master schedule file.  This is the first virus I have seen where you do not need to open the attachment to activate the virus.  It can enter through a devious automatic link on a web page or through an email attachment, and once it sets in it spreads like wildfire.  We have installed all the Microsoft patches that let this virus in, but are there more back doors to worry about?  We think it’s best just not to worry at all.  As you may have heard, Tweeterfest has been cancelled.  There were some requests to turn it into a Red Cross or World Trade Center Relief Fund benefit, but there are just too many issues at this time.  Our heartfelt apologies to everyone who planned on attending.  There are benefit shows and jamborees in the works so check back often for details.  We will be at Georges in Norfolk this Saturday night, and that’s always a great time.  We’ll to see you there!!!

09/12/01 – We are all shocked and enraged by the tragedies of Tuesday September 11, 2001.  The suffering of thousands of innocent people, and all brought about by a handful of “kamikazes” utilizing our own tools against us.  Even thought it was not a banner weekend for Tweeter, it seems all too petty in the light of these recent catastrophes.  It looks like a weekend off for the band and that may be all for the best.  Some time to sit back, relax, and look at our lives and priorities, and remember that no matter how bad things might seem, they can ALWAYS get worse.  The band has decided to run a little lighter schedule than the past few years taking at least one night off every other week.  I hope you will all take some time to send your requests and comments either in the guest book, the contact form, or just email us.  We are also looking for new places for the band to perform, so if you can think of any, send that along too.  Thanks to all who attended last weekends shows and we hope to see you all next week.  Hopefully at a TWEETERFEST!

09/04/01 – Well the last official weekend of the summer has come and gone.  Way to fast for this Tweeter.  A lot of confusion this weekend.  Four nights, four versions of Tweeter.  We are going to take GREAT precautions to make sure that never happens again.  I would like everyone to thank Shawn for his substantial contributions to what became the most chaotic weekend that any version of Tweeter has ever seen.  The Tweeter van should be on the road next weekend after our local DMV refused to give us three minutes to complete our paperwork last Friday.  I hope I get the chance to return the favor some day.  We also have a “request” to delete some pictures.  As always it is our intention to remove any pictures that anyone finds offensive, threatening, malicious, embarrassing, or whatever.  It will take a few days, but I will try to remove all the requested pictures.  We are also asking for everyone to send us their “constructive” ideas about the band.  You can use the contact form, the guest book, or just email any of the members.  Please send whatever comments or suggestions you have.  Next Friday it’s Smokey’s from 9:00 to 12:00 and CJ’s from 10:00 to 2:00.  We hope to see you all there.

08/30/01 - Another quiet, but fun weekend for Tweeter. Thursday night at the Springs Friends, Family, and one half of Tweeter celebrated Mike's birthday.  Friday was an off night, And Saturday Mike and Vinnie had there work cut out for them When the Flu Bug struck Marc earlier in the week disabling his vocal abilities. What’s in store for Tweeter this Weekend?  Marc is still sick, so T8 will perform Friday at the Springs.  Remember you can start your night at the Springs with the 505 club which will meet Friday at 5:05.  Georges on Saturday.  Shep will be watching the door which guarantees everyone will have a good time.  And a SPECIAL LABOR DAY SHOW at the Springs next Monday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm after the Springs Park Labor Day Celebration.  BE THERE!!!

08/20/01 – A pretty down weekend for Tweeter.  A slow night at the Springs.  Shawn stuck at work until 9:00 on Saturday forced the band to play from 10:00 at night until after 2:00 in the morning.  None of us got to make it to Bobby Decarr’s yearly party.  This WILL NOT happen next year.  Tweeter is off this Friday and at CJ’s in Winthrop on Saturday.  Hope to see you there.

08/15/01 - Pretty uneventful for Tweeter last weekend.  Only public appearance this week is Friday at the Spring's so be sure to stop down and listen to the latest rendition of American Band on the kazoos with a guest performance by "The Great Gazoo".  Tweeter is performing at a party on Saturday afternoon, and then will be at DekStock in the evening.  For those going, you can CLICK HERE for the DekStock weather forecast.  Back at CJ's in Winthrop on the 25th.  Also, keep an ear open and an eye peeled for the first ever TweeterFest coming soon.  Bring your camper and your cooler because it is going to be a long night.

08/08/01 – IT HAS BEEN CONFIRMED!  Bob Decarr (Dek) will have his yearly party (DekStock?) for THOSE OF LEGAL AGE on Saturday, August 18th 2001.  It will be at Bob’s house on Joe Indian Lake (formerly Joe Indian Pond).  The theme is BYOE (Bring Your Own Everything) including food, drinks, tents, campers, friends, and INSTRUMENTS, because it’s a JAMMER party.  We will have maps and weather links next week.  See you there.

08/06/01 – An interesting weekend for Tweeter.  A doubtful Saturday wedding turned into a great time.  1/3 of the guests were from Montreal, and 1/3 were from Peru.  People were speaking English, French and Spanish.  And there were many people that did not speak any English.  But everyone seemed to love Tweeter and Tweeter seemed to love everyone.  A beautiful location, lots of food, lots of beer, and one special bottle of Canadian Club.  And Saturday night a tired band started playing at 10:00 (ish) for no more than 15 customers, and what looked like a dead night turned into over 100 people by midnight.  Thank God for the late comers.  A special thanks to Tony Collette for traveling all the way from Florida to hear the band.  Tony will be working with us on next falls “Tweeter Spring Break Tour”.  The dates should be set soon, and I hope that many of you will consider making the trip with us.  No public Tweeter shows this week, but I do hope to see some of you at the Malone Fair to support Shannon McCarthy and the Beanie & Boopsie band.  A new look for the band just around the corner.  Keep up with us for details.

07/25/01 – What a GLORIOUS weekend for Tweeter 9.  A great night at CJ’s, and a PACKED day & night at Ton’s.  It was packed inside.  It was packed outside.  The only problem (for you problem drinkers) is that it took a half hour to get one.  Thanks to Chris Benware for the afternoon music and all the plugs during the day.  Thanks to Tommy for inviting us, bringing in all the food, and ordering extra Cuervo.  Has anyone seen Jay’s keg?.  Another big meeting for T9 this Thursday to discuss the future of the band.  There are rumors of originals, merchandise, stage props, touring, more fresh material, and a new bus or van or something.  Leave your feedback and suggestions in the guestbook here.  See you all Friday night at Massena Springs Tavern where Uncle Pat will be waiting with open arms and chilled Cuervo on tap!!!

07/16/01 – Yes, I’m slow getting pictures up.  I’ve been busy.  The latest ones will be up in the next day or so.  Thanks to all who attended JayStock and made it a huge success.  The food was GREAT, the music was GREAT, the beer was GREAT.  I can’t wait until next year.  Happy Birthday Jay!!!  For those who had to make spectacles out of themselves, it sucks to be you.  Also, there will be collections for the tent at Shawn’s house.  This Friday Tweeter 9 will be at CJ’s in Winthrop.  Saturday they will perform for the Ton’s anniversary party in Potsdam where there will be all day festivities including a pig roast.  They are expecting between 200 and 300 people.  See you all there.

07/09/01 – What a MARVELOUS weekend.  Three packed nights in a row.  Thanks to everyone who came out.  With the exception of the keyboard player, the entire band sounded GREAT.  Tweeter 8 turned out to be one of the BEST Tweeters ever.  And now to turn yet another page of the history book, yes there is a Tweeter 9.  Marc is back and Vinnie will be playing bass.  The debut performance will be back at Massena Springs this Friday, July 13th.  (Yes it is)  Please join us for an evening of rock and roll.  Then Saturday we’ll all be rolling to JayStock 5.  Jay is preparing his usual Deep Fried Turkey Delight (uuummmmmm).  He plans on throwing in a keg or two, but the theme is still “BYOB”.  And it never hurts to bring extra food, your tent or camper, sleeping bags, blankets, all the friends you can find, and if you play, BRING YOUR INSTRUMENT, cause WE BE JAMMIN’!  ALSO bring a present for the Jayman as it IS HIS BIRTHDAY!  It runs from Saturday at noon until Sunday at noon.  CLICK HERE for directions to JayStock.  CLICK HERE for the JayStock weather forecast.  SEE YOU THERE!!!

07/03/01 – Tweeter will NOT be warming up for 24/7 at Smokey’s tonight.  Shawn has to work.  When you see him, remind him that he has to keep his priorities straight.  Tweeter, Cuervo, and Beer first.  Work, Women, and Creditors second.  We’ll see you all Friday night at Springs (starting at 505), Saturday night at CJ’s, and back at Springs on Sunday for the 2:00am to 2:00pm Jamboree.  Don’t forget Jay Patrick’s “JayStock” next weekend from Saturday at noon until Sunday at noon.  Bring your friends, food, drinks, and any instrument you can play.  For directions to JayStock click HERE.  For the weather forecast click HERE.   Happy 4th of July to everyone!

06/29/01 – A weekend off!  We’ll see you at Cole’s Creek!  What are all the rumors about?  Will Tweeter 4 reappear?  Is there such a thing as Tweeter 9?  If we told you, they wouldn’t be rumors.  Tweeter 8 next Friday at the Springs.  Saturday at CJ’s.  And be sure to attend the Jamboree at the Springs on Sunday, July 8th from 2:00am until 2:00pm.  Lots of music.  Lots of beer.  Gotta love it.

06/25/01 – Another rockin’ week for Tweeter 8.  Thanks to all who attended.  Some of the pictures are up, but we are out of storage space with over 1000 pictures on line so we will need to be condensing.  It looks like we are off next weekend.  Our best to you all.  Keep in touch for late breaking news.  We’ll see you next weekend.  WE LOVE YOU GUYS!!!

06/20/01 – Tweeter 8 is STILL ROLLING!  This Friday BACK at George’s and Saturday at CJ’s.  The feedback has been GREAT so far.  Keep checking for up-to-the-minute news.

06/18/01 – A GREAT turnout at George’s last Friday.  Thank you to all who stopped by.  We hope you enjoyed Tweeter 8, and we hope you can find a moment to contact George’s (315-384-8996) and tell them you want Tweeter back NO MATTER WHAT THE PRICE.  Thanks to Vinnie, Rich, & Jay for a fine job.  And thanks also to Marc Muir (former Tweeter) and Kevin Emlaw for sitting in.  I want to apologize for the lack of pictures this week, but the camera batteries were DEAD.  What’s in store for this latest version of “T”?  We’re not sure yet, but there will be meetings this week to discuss plans.  Stay in touch for news updates as they happen.

06/15/01 – Yes folks, the Tweeter web site broke the 1000 hits mark on Thursday evening.  Thank you to all who visit for making our site one of the most popular on the server.  The first Tweeter 8 rehearsal went GREAT.  Keeping with the Tweeter tradition, large amounts of beer were consumed.  We’re doing some of your favorite new tunes, AND the Head East tune is back!  We’ll be looking for you at Barnhart on Friday and George’s on Saturday.

06/13/01 – No Tweeter performances this Friday,  If the weather is good we will be heading to Barnhart to camp.  We welcome all visitors.  Although the Tweeter 8 debut is at George’s this Saturday, it may be the last appearance at that location because George (the owner of the exclusive and luxurious establishment) has decided that he really can’t afford us.  So please stop in and see what could be the one and only performance of Tweeter 8 at George’s Tavern.  ALSO, JayStock has been confirmed and will be held at the Canton Sportsmen’s Club.  It will begin on Saturday, July 14th at 12:00 noon and continue until Sunday July 15th at 12:00 noon.  Jay is preparing his usual Deep Fried Turkey Delight (uuummmmmm).  He plans on throwing in a keg or two, but the theme is still “BYOB”.  And it never hurts to bring extra food, your tent or camper, all the friends you can find, and if you play, BRING YOUR INSTRUMENT, cause WE BE JAMMIN’!  ALSO bring a present for the Jayman as it IS HIS BIRTHDAY!  So, to recap, we’ll see you Friday at Barnhart, Saturday at George’s, and Saturday July 15th, at JayStock.  LOVE YOU GUYS…

06/11/01 – Yes, due to server problems the Tweeter site was down for part of Sunday and Monday.  But it’s back now.  The birthday pictures are up.  Thanks everyone who came out for Friday and Saturday.  Happy Birthday again to Patrick, Tracer and Donnie.  The rumor that Don didn’t make it home until almost Sunday is TRUE.  The rumor that Tracer didn’t show up for work on Monday is TRUE.  Sorry Mikie Parmer didn’t show up for Saturday.  Our apologies to all who were expecting him.  What’s up for this weekend you might ask?  Well, it looks like Tweeter 8 will make it’s debut on Saturday, June 16th at George’s in Norfolk.  (There is a remote possibility of a sneak preview somewhere on Friday)  The lineup will consist of Mike and Shawn (that’s a given) PLUS “Vinnie” Salonick, Rich Russell, and Jay Russell.  How long will this new Tweeter last?  We don’t effin’ know!  How long does any Tweeter last?  The only thing we’ve seen so far is that as soon as one is over, another one seems to start up.  Is the rumor that Marc thinks he made a mistake true?  Probably.  Does he want to come back?  Who wouldn’t?  Will he come back.  You didn’t hear it here.  Will Ed divorce Sara and try to get Tweeter to go on the road with him?  Not if Sara has anything to say about it!  Tweeter 8 meeting this Thursday at Shawn’s.  Keep in touch for up to the minute news.

06/08/01 – The 505 Club page is up.  There is a link under the Links page.  It’s not much yet, but be sure to visit and sign up.  Be sure not to forget the BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS tonight at Massena Springs.  Jay Patrick has a prior commitment, but may show up before the night is over.  Send down any guitarists you know, just in case Tracer doesn’t make it until 2:00.  Be sure to buy all the birthday boys at least one drink.  Mike Parmer will be jamming with the band on Saturday. (good choice)  Welcome Back Mikie!  (Would that be Tweeter 6.75?)  WE’LL SEE YOU THERE!!!

06/04/01 – Thanks to those who came to George’s to see the first performance of Tweeter 7.  The lineup is a bit unstable at this point, so keep watch to see what’s going on, and leave your feedback in the forum or email it to us.  We’re working things for this Friday at Massena Springs Tavern, and it will be posted here as soon as we get confirmations.  Whatever the band, Friday is a very special day.  We will be celebrating the birthdays of Tracer, Little Pat, and Donnie E., whose birthdays all happen to be on the same day.  Be there for one of the biggest celebrations possible.  Invite your friends and relatives.  We will be working on a backup bass player, as we expect Tracer to be out of it by midnight.  And if anyone has a place he can “puke”, let us know.  Pat & Donnie will probably just pass out.  SEE YOU THERE…

05/30/01 – Thanks to everyone who joined us at Cole’s Creek this past weekend.  WHAT A PARTY!!!  We want to thank Cole’s Creek security for their generous tolerance with our obnoxious crew.  We have a few pictures, and they should be making their way here pretty soon.  Marc and Ed are gone for now, but may be back from time to time over the summer.  Check back for details.  We want to send an official Tweeter welcome to Baby Kurt.  Pictures and baby specifications will be posted soon.  There will be a performance this weekend by Tweeter 7.  (Who is that you ask), well we will have Shawn and Myself (Mike) as usual, we have the always popular Tracer playing guitar, The modest but spectacular Jay Patrick on guitar, and the one and only, un-retired, singing and  playing sensation, Chip Brooks on Bass.  This will be a treat, and a lot of fun, so we hope to see everyone at George’s this weekend.

05/22/01 – Marc and Ed will both be leaving the band at the end of the month.  That makes this Saturday quite possibly the last performances for Tweeter 4.  The band will be at the Massena Town Hall at 6:00 pm and in Winthrop at 9:30 pm.  We hope to see you all there for “farewell Saturday”.  And don’t forget that this is Cole’s Creek weekend!!!  PARTY!!!  Check the weather forecast HERE.

05/19/01 – A great turn out at George’s.  Thank you to everyone who showed up.  For those who were right in the neighborhood and couldn’t stop in, WHAT’S UP WITH THAT!  George was mad at the band.  He told us our last break was too long.  If you get a chance, call and tell him (or leave a message) if you think our break wasn’t too long.  The number is 315-384-8996.  And remind him how upset we all were that Saturday there was a D.J. instead of Tweeter.  Don’t forget that next Friday in Waddington has been cancelled because Shawn has to work late.  I know, it’s hard to believe, working over Tweeting.  I remember when he took this job.  He told us he would never have to work nights or weekends.  Go figure…  Keep in mind that next weekend, Memorial Day weekend, we expect to see everyone at Cole’s Creek!  Bring your camper, bring your tent, bring your friends, bring beer, bring Cuervo, be there, and BE SINGLE!

05/18/01 Thursday night’s band meeting (or lack of band meeting) points to the end of Tweeter 4.  For those of you who keep track, a change now would make Tweeter 7.  Who would you like to see playing with Tweeter?  Post your answer in Fan Forum (under Contact Us).  And don’t forget Memorial Day weekend, we expect to see all of you at Cole’s Creek state park.

05/16/01 - Is Ed staying?  Is Marc leaving?  The rumors are flying.  Could this be the end of Tweeter?  Big band meeting this Thursday night.  Keep in touch for details.

05/15/01 – New pictures posted.  Look under Band Info.  And Jr., I couldn’t find that picture of you.  I think I posted all the ones I have.  There is so many, I may have just missed it.  Send me one, or I’ll get you next time around.

05/09/01 - For those of you who showed up at George’s to hear us play, we are very sorry.  I don’t think it was our mistake, but there was a DJ booked there instead of us.  Rest assured we will confirm every date there in the future.  Please call George’s at 315-384-8996 and tell them how disappointed you are not to have heard Tweeter.  If you paid $2.00, please request a refund.  The only good news is that we got a chance to party without working.  I want to send out a special thanks to those who spent the night Tweeting with us.

05/05/01 - A fairly busy night at the Springs last Friday.  Thank you for all who came down and supported us and partied with us.  Especially those who started at the 505 club.  (write to us if you don’t know what that is).  The wedding performance on Saturday afternoon went great.  I wish you all could have been there.  Tweeter performed songs you have never heard them play before, and may never hear them play again.  As of that time, Ed thought he might be staying with the band.  Please email him (address is below) and encourage him to stay.

04/30/01 - Ed Lauzon, bassist and singer for Tweeter 4 has tendered his resignation.  He plans on playing out the current work visa (write us if you don’t know what that is) which should run through the next month, then he will depart the halls of Tweeterdom.  He claims this is totally unrelated to his fairly recent engagement to Sara (the clamp), and we really believe him.  I hope everyone that reads this will email him repeatedly at ed@tweeterandthemonkeyman.com and offer yourselves as his personal sex slave if he would decide to stay with the band.  Unless of course you are a male in which case you could offer your significant other as sex slave.  And remind him of the ROAD TRIP next SPRING BREAK.

We are having disappointing results with the FAN FORUM section of the site.  Please try to leave some sort of garb, just to get it used.  If you have any comments, ideas, or don’t know where FAN FORUM is located, please email webmaster@tweeterandthemonkeyman.com.

Marc has survived his surgery!  He spent a week “Aching to Tweet”, but should now be back on a regular basis.  He is supposed to go a week without Cuervo.  All I can say is “Ya, Right”.  Good to have you back buddy!!!

As you may know, Marc is having surgery on Tuesday, April 16th..  Marc will be having surgery on his throat and will be having his tonsils removed. He (and the rest of the band) will be taking the following weekend off.  Please email him (marc@tweeterandthemonkeyman.com) and wish him a speedy recovery.

On Friday, April 13th, Marc purchased a new piece of equipment for himself and Shawn.  It is an ashtray that clamps on to the drum kit.  WOW!

On Thursday, April 12th, we changed the look of the schedule.  Please email us or use “Fan Forum” to let us know what you think.

On Friday, April 6th, the band blew out one of the 18” sub woofers.  Another unexpected expense.  Contributions to the “Replace the Sub Speaker Fund” will be accepted at any Tweeter appearance.

On Saturday, March 31st, the band switched to a new set of main speakers.  The JBL speakers with 12” speakers and horn were replaced by EV-180 speakers with 15” speakers and a larger horn.  We hope you enjoy the sound improvement.  Please email us or use the “Fan Forum” to let us know what you think.

Tweeter is currently searching for a new vehicle to move their equipment in.  If you know if a good size utility trailer or bus that can be purchased very reasonably, please email webmaster@tweeterandthemonkeyman.com (or any band member) and let them know about it.

Next year (March of 2002) the band plans a tour to Florida for spring break.  We are looking for bookings anywhere en-route from New York to Florida, and several in Florida at any of the “Spring Break” areas.  If you know of any possibilities, please email webmaster@tweeterandthemonkeyman.com.  Also let us know if you would be interested in traveling with the band.  We are looking for drivers, riders, and partiers.

We are looking for suggestions for new areas for the web site.  Please email webmaster@tweeterandthemonkeyman.com with any ideas you have.  Please also use the “Fan Forum” for suggestions and comments about the band.

Friday and Saturday, February 2nd and 3rd, the management of the Union Station cancelled the band for both nights.  If you know any of the management or ownership of this establishment, please help us express our unhappiness with these unexpected last minute cancellations.
